A few years ago the stars aligned just for me and I was offered to be the director of the Community Center in the Julis, a Drize village in the Galilee. These were 4 wonderful years in which I learned about values and family, about respect and pride arising from modesty and humility and about special, talented and unusually wise people with a huge heart.
Join me on 28.6 (Friday) for a tour in the village, we will visit the village's streets, experience the special character and atmosphere, visit interesting places and meet fascinating people.
The tour is on foot with a total length of 3 km, easy difficulty level.
The cost of the tour also includes a Druze breakfast at Noor Restaurant, a visit to the tomb of the Sheikh Amin Tarif, a visit to the Druze Heritage House, a visit to Almona Gardens and other sites in the village.
