It is usually said a person has five senses.
The dictionary says a "Sense" is "The ability of gathering information from the surroundings".
I once heard an addition saying that a "Sense" is something cannot be described to one who lacks it.
And my feeling is I'm not the only one who knows people who are gifted with different senses,
Senses that are no less dramatic than the official five,
Senses that are no less imaginary for those who lack them.
I know people who have the sense of
Knowing what to say.
I know people who have the sense of
Knowing when to be silent.
I know people who have the sense of
Knowing the degree of intimacy that can bring comfort.
I know people who have the sense of
Knowing when they don't know.
