In the past year and a half, since the brutal terror attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, and since Israel launched a counter-war against terror organizations on seven different fronts, attention in and toward Israel has, naturally, been focused on the war and its consequences.
Like every other Israeli, the last two years have shaken the very ground beneath my feet and tossed my life around in a way unlike anything that has ever happened before, both personally and nationally. The intensities were immense, unfathomable, and touched every aspect of life and every tissue of the human body and the national one. For a long time, it was very difficult to imagine that we would ever return to engaging in matters unrelated to the war, its consequences, tragedies and dramas that followed.
Although October 7th will forever be part of the identity, character, and new nature of Israel and Israelis, the forces, abilities, and rare qualities (some would say the weird qualities) of Israel and Israelis are being expressed all the more.
Israel is present in a dramatic way in many universal areas of interest: history, archaeology, science, medicine, agriculture, water, culture, art, sociology, political science, and many more. The contribution of so many Israelis and of the Israeli research is enormous and influences so much and so many around the world—even when they are not aware of it at all.
I strive to bring a glimpse of the things happening in Israel that have an impact on the world’s reality. I thank all my followers, You are my partners on the journey. I hope I can continue to engage you and many others.
